Welcome Newbie...
Do you plan to add D800 or D800E in the future? Just curious...

Moderator action (mistake): Sorry I made a mistake while answering your post and deleted your answer on my question about D800. Sorry.
If you post it again, I'll insert it in the right spot. Stany.
P.S. two issues: Why, in spite of ticking the "log me in every time" box do I have to Log In each time I visit?
Secondly - having posted, is there any way of editing a post?

Re: Newbie Here
Since we moved http://www.fotografie.fr to http://www.nikonuser.info wa have this issue. We're working on it but it can take 2 more weeks.P.S. two issues: Why, in spite of ticking the "log me in every time" box do I have to Log In each time I visit?
You can edit for 30 minutes I believe... Making editing time longer can ruin complete topics.Secondly - having posted, is there any way of editing a post?
Kindest regards,
Stany
Re: Newbie Here
Good to meet you Dave.
I agree about being adobe free, it's a great goal to have - it's just this colour issue that I would need to find an alternative to!
On the Mac I can create a new camera profile, but I don't always want the "corrected" colours as the lightsource might be different or the lens might have characteristics, or I just prefer the image from a different profile. Unfortunately I've yet to find a solution that is anything like as convenient as the ColourChecker / Lightroom one for hundreds of images.
Anyway, good to meet you!
