Wow, this is great! I have never been able to catch butterflies in flight.
How did you do it?

I wonder how someone can photograph a butterfly while flying, they are fast and their traject is unpredictable...

dear all,
I'm just returning from holliday.
I think I will never have this possibility to make those pictures a second time in my life. This butterfly isn't alive anymore and it was the only show beast in the butterfly zoo.
I had the 105mm with 1/800 + AF+ MF single point without flash on my D300. I don't know a lot of making pictures, but with the setting on my camera that Stany made for me, was it just pushing and trying not to loose the butterfly.

Very nice and sharp picture, also the light in the picture is very nice even as the flying bytterfly itself.
