AF-S 500mm f/5.6 E PF ED VR 'AF speed & accuracy on Z8

I am extremely happy with my Z 180-600 to AF-S 500mm f/5.6 E PF ED VR switch.
Combined with the Z 100-400 it is all you need for wildlife photography. From near macro to BIF and long-distance birds or wildlife.

The 500 PF has an excellent or even outstanding AF response on my Z8, also when used with the 1.4 TCIII, on long ànd short distance subjects...

Images have been taken handheld during a walk in nature, without any preparation whatsoever...

Swallows in flight are always challenging to photograph because they are hard to follow and very demanding on the camera's AF system. However, for the Z8 with AF-S 500mm f/5.6 E PF ED VR, this is a "piece of cake."
