Mirrorless vs DSLR : SIX reasons I prefer mirrorless cameras
I had more reasons to move from Nikon F (D850+ D500 + D4) to Nikon Z6 & Z7 two years ago, but there is one reason in this video I was not aware of...
kindest regards,
Stany

From minute 9:10 (reason 4) made me discover a whole range of new possibilities...
With my 100-400 Canon on my Z6 & Z7 camera...
This lens can be used very well for close up photography, even for things that move very fast...
For subjects I don't want to go too close...

What were your reasons to move from Nikon F (D850+ D500 + D4) to Nikon Z6 & Z7 ?Stany Buyle wrote: I had more reasons to move from Nikon F (D850+ D500 + D4) to Nikon Z6 & Z7 two years ago, but there is one reason in this video I was not aware of...
Passioned by beautiful pictures, not a very active photographer though...

PS I use google translate a lot to write better English. So, if mistake, I's google, not me.

Curiosity, high expectations, silent shooting...Vincent De Vos wrote: ↑Wed 19 Aug 2020 12:34 What were your reasons to move from Nikon F (D850+ D500 + D4) to Nikon Z6 & Z7 ?
Those high expectations were followed with slight disappointment about Z's first generation' AF, which wasn't even close to my D500.
The disappointment became even bigger after I tested Z7II and Z6 II which made me change to the spectacular eos R5. The best camera I ever handled.
Compared to what is actually available, I see R5 as a Z9 in a D500 alike body. Something I expect to be widely available by Nikon as well in the second half of 2023 under the Z8 name, 3 years after Canon...
Related to Z9, even though it is a fantastic performer, I never liked big bricks. I had a D3 from day 1 of the availability but changed to D700 on the day of release. I used D700 until D800 replaced it. Another home run by Nikon.
kindest regards,
Stany
