Card ERROR failure after EOS R5 firmware update to 1.50
I did the update with a fresh formatted 64 GB sandisk SD card and everything went fine. (picture taken with my phone)
From the moment I put my CF EXPRESS card back inside the red light next to the card door was illuminated. (pictures taken with my phone)
Tried to format my CFE card in-camera...
After showing a long time "busy", I got a "card error" message on my upper screen... Red light maintained...
And on the LCD I get following message:
My CFE card brand/type is INTEGRAL ultima pro 256GB.
I bought this card in December 2020 and never got a problem with this card before...
Very unhappy...
I tried my camera with a sandisk SD card, everything fine...

Re: Card ERROR failure after EOS R5 firmware update to 1.50
I tried a deep format of my CF express card in the card reader of my PC...
Done.
Same error....
Tried to format one more time in the camera... Long time "busy", after that "card error".
With my sandisk SD card, my camera functions normally.

Re: Card ERROR failure after EOS R5 firmware update to 1.50
I reported a post-firmware-update error @ Canon CPS Belgium & Germany.
I can take pictures with my Sandisk SD card.
