Once more, -after thousands of times before-, I experienced the amazing subject tracking the R5 has, even with a "slow" lens like the RF 100-400 F5.6-F8
Approx 50 pictures of the traject this bee did, were all in focus.
The image resized to 1000 px longest side... No sharpening or any other post-processing...

Red square AF point indication as you can see in DPP4. Dead on for more than 50 consecutive shots...

Yesterday I met a swarm of really big dragonflies. Never saw such big ones in this region. I wonder if their size is influenced by climate change...They were chasing and flying extremely fast which obliged me to go for 1/4000 shutter speed.
