RAW conversion evolution provide second life to older DSLRs

Post by Stany Buyle »

Yves P -a Canadian photographer-(*), recently posted a very nice quick portrait taken with his D1X in a topic on Dpreview(http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1021&message=38867210).
Special about it is the fact that the image has been taken at iso 3200. Iso 3200 wasn't that common in D1x release days while it used to be terribly noisy/grainy.
Latest RAW conversion programs seem to provide a second life to older digital cams though...
Happy I still have a D1H... ;)

I like better one good shot in a day than 10 bad ones in a second...
